Meet Astraea.
When you receive an insurance proposal from Equilibrium, you'll notice her on the cover. Astraea is the goddess of justice and innocence from Greek mythology. She was the last deity to leave Earth when corruption took hold. She rose to become the constellation Virgo, holding the scales of Libra in her hand.
Those scales are what we're named after. Balance between coverage and cost. Integrity when the easy answer isn't usually the right one. Innovation when the industry refuses to change.
She's there because when you have a claim, you'll find out exactly what Equilibrium stands for.
Balance
We believe that it’s crucial to strike equilibrium (balance) in all areas, both professionally and personally. Professionally, it’s our goal to find balance within the insurance policies we sell. We believe that everyone has a different equilibrium point (where coverage and price intersect). It’s our job to find that intersection to strike the perfect balance for each client. Personally, Equilibrium believes in work-life balance. Our days start a little bit earlier, but also end earlier too, so our employees can get to their kids’ after-school activities, prepare dinner, or take part in their own social activities.
